Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting an introductory session on the power of communication, facilitated by Debbie S. Barnard, Executive Director & Principal Coach and part of the Maxwell Leadership Team. During the session, we learned the importance of effective communication in leadership and how to improve our skills to achieve our business goals.

Debbie emphasized the crucial role that communication plays in building trust and rapport with team members. Effective communication allows leaders to create a positive and collaborative work environment, which ultimately leads to increased productivity and better outcomes for the organization.
We also discussed the different types of communication and their impact on leadership effectiveness. For instance, non-verbal communication, such as body language and tone of voice, can often convey more than what is said verbally. It is important for leaders to be aware of their non-verbal cues and how they may be interpreted by their team members.
In conclusion, our introductory session on the power of communication with Debbie S. Barnard was an eye-opening experience for all of us. We learned that effective communication is the foundation of successful leadership and that it requires ongoing effort and practice to master.
